About Us

Atlanta Recruiting Group was founded in 1998 with the exclusive focus of recruiting experienced professionals for the staffing/recruiting industry. The recruiting industry is what we know and hiring for talent within this field is our specialty. Our recruiters have a unique perspective, having worked in practically every position in the business.

Although each client has different needs, our approach to recruiting remains consistent. We continually network and headhunt for talent. We represent a select group of companies and we do not strive to be all things to all people, but endeavor to provide a valuable and quality resource to our clients. We pride ourselves on operating with the highest level of integrity and interacting with our clients and candidates in the most ethical fashion possible. SUSAN NUNN, PRESIDENT

Susan has worked in the recruiting industry for over 20 years. She started her career with a regional staffing firm in their corporate office and quickly moved into an operations management role. She progressed to Branch Manager, Perm Recruiter, Area Manager and Vice President of Operations with her last employer, eventually founding Atlanta Recruiting Group. Susan has successfully sold, managed teams and serviced clients across a wide range of industries, which gives her great insight into the skills and abilities required to excel in the staffing industry.

Susan’s success with Atlanta Recruiting Group comes from her diverse experience in the industry and her ability to understand her clients’ needs at a much deeper level than most. Susan has built a solid network of contacts within the Atlanta market as well as in other major markets in the U.S. Her numerous connections within the industry and her ability to successfully recruit the best candidates allow her clients to tap into top talent for their organizations.

In her free time, Susan is actively involved in animal rescue in the greater Atlanta area, enjoys a variety of health and fitness related activities, and serves on the board of directors of Every Believer a Witness Ministries.

Our Process

When we accept a new search we discuss with our client in detail what the position entails and the skills and experience a candidate must possess to be considered highly qualified for the position. Due to our extensive backgrounds in the industry, we are easily able to understand our clients’ needs for various roles within their organizations. We then begin our research and take an organized approach to finding the right candidate. Sometimes the ideal candidate is already a contact in our database. When that isn’t the case, we take an aggressive approach to sourcing, mainly seeking out passive candidates. Our recruiting methods help us uncover top talent that our clients may not otherwise find.

We do not inundate our clients with resumes each time we accept a search. We take the time to search for the right candidate and generally present only a few candidates per position. These are candidates we have thoroughly screened and feel very strongly are the right fit for our clients. Our motto is, “If we wouldn’t hire them to work with us, we won’t send them to interview with you.” Our ultimate goal is to develop beneficial long term relationships with both our clients and candidates, not just make a quick placement.

We are selective about who we choose to work with – both on the client side and the candidate side. We want to do business with companies who operate with integrity, pay and treat their employees well, provide their staff with career growth opportunities and partner with us in a way that allows us to provide them with the best service possible. We seek out candidates who have a proven record of success in the staffing industry, are among the top producers in their peer group and have the right skills and experience for our clients.
